Insights on cheesing.

Sean says:
*This player cannot handle cheese* is bullshit
honestly
huge bullshit
doing 5 lows in a row
you can call that cheese
but
what's the best option
if i dun do that low
you're not ducking anyway
if he call that cheese
then seriously
its not
people do a lot of lows in a row
you can block what
like honestly la
he claims he can adapt well
if i play in a way that wants to annoy him
and make him pissed off
it's his fault
that he can't follow
anyway it's not my fault that I play gimmick characters
i enjoy the character
if you think you can adapt
and you're a good player
cheese is nothing to you la
fuck
you eat hopkick alot of times doesn't mean the player cheesing you what
you so vulnerable
WD go in
then even if i really want cheese you
you know i going to do this move over and over
you don't want block
plain stupid
*I can't handle cheese* is an excuse to hide one inability to defend against various playstyles
you never hear me say I can't handle cheese before
not because I cheese people so I know the mentality
is really because of instinct
can see one
damn sad la
we don't hear dreamboat say 'I CAN'T HANDLE CHEESE'
cuz he's a good player
he can never be cheesed
cuz he can sense it coming a mile away
and launch you for trying to do so
so for people who can't handle cheese
just learn to block
and read situations better
if you know that person has a tendecy to cheese
then avoid creating an opening for him to exploit

Lars is really turning bitchy now.

Before, Lars itself was already a very strong character because of the insanely good moves which Namco gave him, but still somewhat easy to handle. But ever since Holeman came out with that super cheesy playstyle, Lars, it his full essence, has became super bitchy to play.

But before we go in-depth about the bitchy style, lets go through some of the things to take note for lars.

Things to punish:
-The unholy hail mary move of Lars which for some reason scrubs spam, and people eat, is -21 on block. So punish well.
-Ws1 is -12 on block
-ff2 is -13 on block
-ff1+2 is -11 on block with push back
-213 a high mid mid is -12 on block
-1+2 is -10 on block, while canceling the 2nd hit would still render the first hit to be -10 on block
-f1+2 is -12 on block
-f1+4 is -18 on block
-f24 is -12 on block
-b1+2 is -11 on block
-ff43 is -30/-17 respectively
-ff3+4 is -16
-db23 is -12
-fb21 is -12/-16 respectively
-FC df1+2 is a low low, 2nd hit can be parried and its -12 on block
-SE 1 is -10 on block
-SE 2 is -17 on block
-SE 3 is -14 on block
-DE 1+2 is -10 on block

Things to SS:
Well, nothing really because most of his moves has some tracking to both ways. Eg f1+2, ff43, ff1+2, db21, 21. Basically all of his most used moves.

Things to duck:
-F24, duck 2nd hit.
-d31, duck 2nd hit.
-14, duck 2nd hit.
-db13, continue to duck after blocking the db1
-b43, duck 2nd hit.
-DE12, both highs.

Things to take note:
If you realize that the opponent has somehow adapted to the holeman style of playing, you should take note of the moves which are -5 and below that can give lars enough time to ss effectively and whiff punish f1+2.
Things like 12, df1, d2, DE1, ff43, 214, ff1+2, d1/d4, ws2, ws4 can give the opponent enough time to ss your moves.
However, you can always try to bait for the f1+2 after the ss. For an example, using a single jab to make the opponent realize that you are button trigger happy after whatever he does, so he will ssf1+2. But at the same time, you can jab and hold back, and block his f1+2, and then punish it.
Or, you can always use a fast tracking move. But if the opponent realizes that, they can continue their attack because their pokes will probably win your tracking move in speed.

If you are playing with a scrub, please just defend because they are uf3 trigger happy. uf3 crushes highs, lows and some mids if you haven't realised it yet. So even if they are like on -9, uf3 can still crush you and rape your butt.

Generally, I think lars has awesomely good mids, but shitty lows, so all you really have to do is just to hold back, turtle abit, space, ss if you think is needed, and sooner or later, they will have the urge to use ff43 and db4, then you can just block and punish. Not recommended if you aren't fast enough to react to them though.
